The World Racing Car Take-A-Part set is an awesome toy! This car set is fun to take apart and put back together with the power drill. The car can be completely dismantled. This 30 piece set includes 5 car parts, 5 modification parts, 8 tires, drill, drill bit and screws. Parts include engine, seat, roof, hood, side bumpers, spoiler, and front bumper. The screws are big and easy to use. Also, the car lights up and makes realistic engine sounds with a shake. Build the car plain or with sporty modification parts. Engine uses 2x AG13 batteries (included). Drill uses 2x AA batteries (not included).
Your kids will love putting it all together and taking it apart. Everything on the car can be taken apart. A great toy for boys or girls!

My 2.5 year old had so much fun with this and got the hang of it pretty quick, we supervised him the whole time anyway though. The only negative we found with this toy (we got the car fyi) is that the car did not work as a toy but only something to put together. If you screw the wheels all the way in then they don't roll, if you loosen them slightly then they loosen completely as you roll it. If your kids are older this might not be a problem but it frustrated our son a little.

I bought this for my nephews 5th birthday. He was very excited, and has taken it apart and reassembled it several times this week.
The only draw back is the yellow sides that go on the bottom of the car, there are no screws for him to screw in, and it takes a bit of balance to keep those pieces on while you connect the next piece that holds them in place.

This Take-A-Part Racing Car is sturdy and well made. It comes with 5 car parts, 5 modification parts, 2 sets of tires and all the necessary screws plus 2 extra screws. A toy power drill is also included and is needed to put in and take out the screws. The drill does requires 2 AA batteries that are not included. The engine also takes batteries, but they are already installed. The engine goes inside the car and has an on/off switch to control the motion activated lights and sounds. The only thing that would make this car better (and why I gave it four stars) is if the lights and sounds could be turned on and off without having to take the car completely apart!
My almost 3 year old loves to play with this car when it is all put together. It is a fairly large car and is the perfect size for his little hands! He also loves to play with the drill independently of the car. He is not ready to take this car apart and put it back together yet, he just gets frustrated. This car would be just as entertaining to an older child who is more capable of taking it apart and putting it back together. I do like that this car can grow with him. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I do recommend this toy!

Bought this for my grandson, and it went directly to him, so I have not seen it in person. He enjoys playing with it and had it figured out in no time. He's a little over 3 years old and had no problem working the tools to put the car together.

This is the coolest car! I bought it for my 3 year old nephew, who is, already, a complete gear head. Seriously, he is only truly happy while outside with his father, with both their heads in an engine compartment. I bought this for him for Christmas, but when I arrived I checked this awesome toy out. It's very well made and pretty sturdy, so I think it will handle some abuse from Aiden. That said, they are just enough parts for him to attach and remove again and again to hopefully satisfy his urge to fix it just like Dad.

I am so happy I got this toy for him and cannot wait for the holidays to see his face when he opens this one up! I was so excited by this toy and it's very reasonable price. Image how happy I was to get a discount on it in exchange for an honest review! I HIGHLY recommend this toy for young boys interested in mechanics and cars in general. Be advised, this is NOT a toy for younger boys. It has small parts that could be a choking hazard. Even at nearly 4 (at Christmas time) I will make sure my nephew is closely supervised while playing with this toy.

Love this car! Kids 2 to 7 loved to assemble. I thought mine was without lights and sound until I flipped over the motor and found a switch. It was irritating so I flipped it back off but nice to have the option. The strange yellow pieces someone mentioned did not belong are actually the bottom panels on the sides. The grammer on the box was interesting but the kids sure didn't care and all said it was their favorite toy even though we had Ninja Turtles and Dinobots! Getting some more!

My son loves it & the car comes apart 100%, my son plays with it daily and it keeps him pretty busy! It's a great toy expecially if your child likes tools and taking stuff apart and putting things back together!
